We purchased Sammy a week before the pandemic hit and he has been so much company for my husband and I. Premier Pups answered all questions and concerns prior to bringing Sammy home and they are very helpful and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again. We have 15 grandchildren and he has been great around children too.

We were very apprehensive about purchasing a puppy this way but it was a great experience. The staff is there for you always to answer questions. We got her on 3/25/20 (my husbands birthday) And we were concerned about how she would handle the flight but when we picked her up she just wanted out of the crate. She didn’t get sick in it and had no accidents in it. When we got home she had the zoomies and adjusted so well to her new life. She is the sweetest puppy ever you can tell she was handled and loved prior to coming to our home. I would definitely recommend them.

We bought Jax Fernando Frazier on March 27th and our family worships him. Jax has brought lots of laughter and love to our family. The potty training is in the books and he goes to the front door to be let out. Sleeps all night in his bed with his favorite blanket and chewable bear. Thank you for the wonderful services your company provided us, very professional, and continues to call and check-in
The adoption of our little guy was very smooth. We got our guy home and he's been the best puppy. He was potty trained within about 4 weeks. I highly recommend PremierPups. In fact, we just put in a bid for another puppy.

When I first was looking for a puppy for my four boys who’s always asked me for a dog I was scared. I wanted one that will fit our family. I called different places but non was appealing to me nor made me feel secure and safe (no scams) about getting one. Then I called premier pups and off top they was great!! They asked me questions about my family to see which breed will fit best and they suggested a Havanese puppy. I searched and found “Bobby” (the name they gave him which we ended up keeping) his picture stoled my heart. Still nervous being that they was in Ohio and I am in MD, the made me feel secure the whole way through, I had a thousand questions and they picked up and answered me every time. I had to wait till he was 8weeks old for them to fly him in but it was worth it. I surprised my boys for Christmas and it was the best gift I ever got them in their opinion as well as mines. Premier pups not only made sure he got here safe but also kept up with us the first two weeks to make sure all was well which let me know I picked the right place cause they really care about what they do. It’s almost about to be a year that we’ve had him and he’s been the biggest blessing for our whole entire household. I’ve recommended this company to anyone who’s asked. If you’re looking for a good place to go to to find man’s best friend this is def it!!!

Pebbles (formerly Estela) came to us in April 2020 I was worried about the “virtual” purchase but I did my research and Premier Pups process made everything so easy with answering any questions to step by step instructions when she arrived. Taking delivery of Pebbles during the COVID mess with airline flights I prepared myself to drive to Ohio to pick her up. But Mike with Premier Pups flew a private charter to Florida with Pebbles along with a few of her furry friends. She arrived happy, healthy and full of energy! That’s excellent customer service not only with the delivery Premier Pups even continued to check in with me to see how Pebbles was doing. I had a great experience and would not hesitate to recommend and use Premier Pups in the future! Here’s a picture of her 1st birthday along with her favorite Yak chew stick!

The Havanese have moderate grooming requirements. It is beneficial to brush them twice or three times every week in order to avoid knots, tangles, and matting, and to keep their coats soft and shiny. They should also be bathed regularly, preferably once or twice every month, and have their nails clipped and ears cleaned monthly. The Havanese will also benefit from a visit to a professional groomer for a coat trim and dental care every few months. Popular Havanese short hair haircuts are the Havanese teddy bear cut and the Havanese puppy cut.
Havanese Exercise Needs
The Havanese are not overly active dogs. They much prefer staying indoors and performing a trick or a stunt in the middle of the living room rather than being active outdoors. They do enjoy an occasional game of fetch or a brisk chase but are not necessarily adventure seekers. A short daily walk and some fun playtime at home are enough to keep them healthy and happy.
The Havanese is a generally healthy breed with few health concerns that the Havanese dogs are prone to. Some conditions they may develop include patellar luxation, cataracts and deafness (usually in old age), hip dysplasia, and Legg Calve Perthes.
The Havanese lifespan is between 12 and 15 years. The Havanese life expectancy can increase with a well-balanced high-quality diet, proper exercise, and frequent vet checks. The oldest Havanese dog lived to the age of 18 years and 2 months.
The Havanese are bright and generally easy to train. They love to learn new things, but they can also get a bit bored in the process, so it is important to make training sessions short and as fun as possible. They respond well to positive reinforcements, delicious treats, and praise.
Socializing Havanese puppies should be easy enough. They are naturally social, outgoing, and friendly to all. They take well to leash training and are known to be easily potty trained.
The Havanese are not overly dependent dogs, but they are sometimes prone to separation anxiety if spoiled too much. It is best to leave them alone for short periods at a time when they are still very young to help them adjust and avoid any issues in the future.
